Terms of Service

By accessing or using HumanCalc ("the Service") at humancalc.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

HumanCalc is a web-based cognitive training platform whose games are free to play. The Service is provided "as-is" for educational and personal development purposes only.

HumanCalc is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional medical advice or neuropsychological assessment.

All exercises on HumanCalc are free to play. There is no subscription and no paywalled level, and core training exercises will always be free.

Signed-in players can optionally buy coin packs. Coins are a virtual in-app balance that can be spent on cosmetic items and streak recovery. They never add XP, never change a ranking, have no cash value, and cannot be withdrawn or transferred. Coins you earn by playing and coins you buy are one balance.

Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record. Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes. Polar's terms apply to the payment itself. Coins are credited to your account after the payment is confirmed.

Refund requests can be sent to info@humancalc.com. If a purchase is refunded, we remove the coins from that purchase from your balance, up to the amount you still hold. Coins you have already spent on cosmetic items may not be recoverable.

Nine games are open to guests; a free account unlocks the remaining games. If you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information
• Maintaining the security of your password
• All activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or databases
• Use automated tools or bots to access or interact with the Service
• Reverse-engineer or decompile the Service
• Transmit malware or disruptive code

All content, design, code, and trademarks on HumanCalc are the exclusive property of HumanCalc and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The Service is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind. Cognitive training results vary by individual. Research findings referenced on this site do not constitute guarantees of individual outcomes.

HumanCalc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. To the extent permitted by law, our maximum liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for coin packs in the 12 months before the claim.

HumanCalc may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or competent courts of jurisdiction.
