What this is

13 focused browser games for memory, attention and mental arithmetic. They draw on tasks such as dual n-back, Stroop and paced serial addition, with adaptations for short browser practice. These are training games, not clinical tests.

What we claim, and what we don't

Game feedback helps you review the task you just practised. Compare your own scores at the same settings; there is no promised timeline for improvement.

Research on transfer beyond the practised task has differing findings. Our pages distinguish the game rules from the research background. A HumanCalc score is not an IQ measure or a clinical assessment.

How we write our guides

HumanCalc publishes walkthroughs under the HumanCalc name. Examples are checked against the current game rules, and research references link to the original publications. The difficulty map on each game page shows what share of HumanCalc players reached each level; it describes our players, not a population norm. Publication dates and meaningful updates appear on each article.

Why it's free

Every game is free to play. There is no subscription, no trial, and no paywalled level. A free account unlocks five members-only games, saved progress, XP, streaks and the leaderboard. Nine games remain open to guests. Optional coin packs only buy cosmetics and streak recovery; they never add XP or change a ranking.

Not a medical tool

HumanCalc is for training and curiosity. It is not a diagnostic instrument and a score here means nothing clinically, however closely a game follows the original task.
